Is Docnkit free?
Yes, Docnkit offers a free (freemium) version with the essential features. A premium plan will add advanced tools: personalised tracking, consultation summaries, vaccine reminders, a digital care kit, and exclusive content.
Who designs and validates the content?
Every piece of content is written and validated by healthcare professionals, aligned with the latest official recommendations and updated regularly so it stays reliable and easy to understand.
Are my data protected?
Yes. Your data are encrypted and stored on HDS-certified servers (OVHcloud), in compliance with the GDPR and cybersecurity standards. You keep full control: export, edit, or delete your information whenever you want.
Who is Docnkit for?
For everyone: parents, young professionals, seniors, and caregivers. Docnkit is designed to be simple, clear, and useful for each person, both daily and in urgent situations.
Does Docnkit work for the whole family?
Yes. You can create several profiles (children, partner, parents) and tailor the advice to every family member.
Can my doctor and pharmacist access my information?
Yes. You can share your information securely, for instance using a QR code generated for your consultations, to make appointments more efficient.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Part of the content (advice sheets, care kit, prevention) is available offline. Features that require updates (notifications, tracking, backups) need an internet connection.
Can Docnkit help me get care faster?
Docnkit does not replace medical appointments, but it facilitates and streamlines access to care: better preparation, tailored guidance, and time saved during consultations.
Is the app available in multiple languages?
Yes. Docnkit launches in French and will soon be available in English and other languages for international use.
Does Docnkit use AI?
Yes. Docnkit relies on artificial intelligence under medical supervision to personalise questionnaires, adapt advice, and enhance the experience-always reviewed by doctors.
Is Docnkit accessible to deaf or visually impaired users?
Yes. The app is designed to be accessible to everyone, compatible with screen readers, offering visual adjustments, and following an inclusive approach for people with disabilities.
Does it work in other countries?
Yes. The main features are universal and available internationally. Some features (prevention, guidance, useful numbers) are adapted to local healthcare systems.
Why is it not reimbursed?
Docnkit is not yet covered by the national health insurance because it is a digital service being rolled out. Our ambition is to secure public or complementary health funding in the future.
Is it a digital medical device?
Yes. Docnkit is developed under European regulation and follows a step-by-step certification pathway. The app starts with Class I usage and will progress toward Class IIa certification to guarantee rigor and safety.
