Your data, your choices on Docnkit

Learn how Docnkit uses a minimal set of cookies to run the site, enhance your experience, and let you decide how your browsing is tracked.

Last update: September 2025

Total transparency

This policy spells out exactly what we place, why, and how we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Limited footprint

Docnkit relies on strictly necessary cookies. Analytics or audience modules are only activated with your explicit agreement.

You stay in control

Update your preferences any time from the banner, this page, or the floating "cookies" button available across the site.

What is a cookie?

Cookies are small files or trackers stored on your computer, tablet, or smartphone. They remember your preferences (language, session, display settings) to make browsing easier and avoid re-entering information.

Cookies are kept only for a limited period. They do not directly identify you but record technical data about your browsing (pages visited, date and time, session length, etc.).

For every cookie-related processing activity, DOCTOKIT (DOC N KIT), a French registered SAS, acts as the data controller and applies the GDPR together with French data protection law.

Are cookies dropped during your first visit?

When you first browse docnkit.fr, a banner lists the types of cookies we may use. Until you provide consent, only strictly necessary cookies are stored.

You can accept every category, refuse non-essential cookies, or customise your choice. This page is always available to recap the purposes and actors involved.

Which data can be collected?

Depending on the cookie category, the following information may be linked to your device at a given time:

  • A technical identifier to recognise your browser or internet box;
  • The date, time, and duration of your connection to our pages;
  • The referring address (website or campaign that led you to docnkit.fr);
  • The operating system and browser version you use;
  • The language configured in your browser;
  • Any loading errors encountered;
  • The sections viewed and the content you share.

Purposes of the cookies placed by Docnkit

We only use trackers that serve a legitimate, proportionate purpose. Cookies that require consent are switched on solely when you authorise them.

Strictly necessary cookies

Always active

They guarantee the basic operation of the site: secure display, session handling, storage of your language and privacy preferences.

  • Without them, essential features would be unavailable (secure access, consent storage, form security).

Audience measurement

Requires consent

These cookies help us understand how the site is used so we can improve the experience (most viewed pages, time spent, browsing paths).

  • No third-party analytics tracker is enabled by default. We will only deploy one after asking for your permission.

Social networks

Used on demand

Instagram or LinkedIn may drop cookies when you share Docnkit content or interact with their buttons.

  • These cookies are added only if you actively use social features. Please refer to each network's privacy policy to manage your rights.

Advertising cookies

Not in use

Docnkit does not display targeted ads and does not pass your browsing data to commercial networks.

  • If this changes, we will publish the partner list here and collect your consent before activation.

Who can place cookies on docnkit.fr?

Docnkit (DOCTOKIT)

  • Cookies issued directly by Docnkit to operate the site and keep it secure.
  • Technical providers acting on our behalf (HDS hosting, maintenance, support tools).

Social networks

  • Instagram and LinkedIn may place their own cookies when you share content from docnkit.fr.
  • These platforms remain responsible for processing your data. Check their policies to understand your rights.

Commercial partners

  • At this stage no advertising partner is authorised to place cookies on docnkit.fr.
  • If we enable a new partner, the detailed list will appear here and will require your prior consent.

Docnkit never sells or rents cookie-derived data. Each actor works under contractual safeguards that protect your information.

How can you change your consent?

You may adjust your preferences at any time, even after closing the initial banner.

Three options let you take back control of your choices:

  1. 1Click the "Cookie settings" link in the banner or on this page to open the management module and save a new choice.
  2. 2Use the floating biscuit-shaped button at the bottom right of the site to reopen the consent window.
  3. 3Configure your browser to block or delete cookies (the procedure differs for Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, etc.).

Refusing strictly necessary cookies may degrade the experience or block access to certain secure features.
